Drug Awareness & Safeguarding Session for Secondary Schools
We deliver an engaging drug awareness and safeguarding session designed specifically for secondary schools. The programme helps students understand the risks associated with drugs, county lines exploitation, and peer pressure, while supporting schools in strengthening their safeguarding approach.
What the Session Includes
Drug Awareness Assembly
A short, informative assembly aligned with safeguarding and PSHE objectives. The session explores the realities of drug use, the dangers of county lines exploitation, and the importance of making safe, informed decisions.
Detection Dog Demonstration
Students see a trained detection dog in action, demonstrating how drugs can be identified and why bringing substances into school carries serious risks and consequences.
School Search Support (If Required)
The trained detection dog can also be used to identify any potential substances present within the school environment.
Discussion on County Lines & Exploitation
An open discussion helping students understand how exploitation happens, how peer pressure can influence decisions, and how to recognise and avoid risky situations.
